The drilling of three oil wells in Zubair and West Qurnah fields completed: Oil Ministry

The Ministry of Oil announced on Tuesday, the completion of drilling and reclamation of three oil wells in the Zubair and West Qurna fields.
 
The Iraqi Drilling Company-IDC stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the technical and engineering staff at the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the drilling of the oil well Zubair / 572 at a depth of 3561 meters within the contract concluded with the Italian company ENI to drill 37 oil wells in the Zubair oil field in Basra in cooperation with Schlumberger Company to provide oil services, indicating that "the drilling process was carried out using the IDC-38 drilling rig with a horsepower of 1500 horsepower."
 
"In the same field, the company completed the reclamation of the oil well Zubair / 231 using the reclamation device IDC - 40. The company also completed the reclamation of the oil well West Qurna / 227 in the field of West Qurna / 1 for ExxonMobil using the reclamation device IDC – 143," The statement continued.
