Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani directed on Saturday an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers on August 12, International Youth Day. The session will focus on the proposals submitted by the youth during the National Conference for Youth Dialogue held in Baghdad. . Al-Sudani was in attendance during the conference.
“Representatives from different governorates presented numerous ideas and proposals they had diligently prepared over two months. The aim was to improve the conditions and opportunities for Iraqi youth, and harness their creative energies for the betterment of the country,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
“In his remarks during the conference, the Prime Minister commended the participants' efforts and reaffirmed the government's longstanding commitment to youth welfare. He emphasized the crucial role of the youth in driving development, overcoming economic challenges, and implementing reforms. The Prime Minister also emphasized that youth are of utmost priority in the government's agenda”, the statement added.
