Rusafa Criminal Court sentences a drug dealer to death

The criminal court of Al Rusafa issued on Tuesday, a judgment of the death sentence against one of the drugs’ dealers .


The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated that "A death sentence was issued against a criminal after he was seized in possession of (39) packages of narcotic substances (captacon pills) for trafficking in them"


"The court issued its judgment  in accordance with the provisions of Article 27/First of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017, and in referring with Articles 47, 48, and 49 of the Penal Code," the statement continued.
