PM: Jordan is a complementary and integrated arena with the Iraqi economy

    PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani affirmed that insulting the Holy Qur’an does not represent the value of freedom of expression and it establishes hatred.

    "The Jordanian Prime Minister's visit to Baghdad confirms the depth of the relationship between Iraq and Jordan. The bilateral meetings were positive," said Al-Sudani in a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    He added, "The Iraqi government emphasizes the policy of balance in the region. Iraq emphasizes raising the level of communication in the region."

    "We are supportive of the Iraqi and Jordanian private sectors. During the meetings, we emphasized pivotal projects, including the industrial city," he noted.

    PM Al-Sudani pointed out, "Jordan is a complementary and integrated arena with the Iraqi economy. We aspire to expand cooperation," adding, "We emphasized the increase in flights between Iraq and Jordan."

    "There are promising projects and proposals that will benefit Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, as they are under discussion," he noted, noting, "We directed the competent agencies in Iraq and Jordan to provide facilities for trade between the two countries."

    He highlighted, "The clear transgression in burning the Holy Qur'an does not represent any value for freedom of expression."
