Hussein: we look forward to sending a delegation to Yemen to follow up the Iraqi community’s situation

    Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced on Sunday the intention to send a delegation to Yemen to follow up on the situation of the Iraqi community, while Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak confirmed that there are historical relations with Iraq.
     
    Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said at a press conference with his Yemeni counterpart Ahmed bin Mubarak, attended by the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "there is a tendency to send a delegation to Yemen to follow up on the situation of the Iraqi community," indicating that "Iraq supports any political effort to stabilize the situation in Yemen.
     
    Hussein added that “dialogue in Yemen will lead to an improvement in the economic situation in it, "noting that "Iraq is ready to move to be part of the solution to the problems in the region and resolve the situation in Yemen.
     
    For his part, the Yemeni Foreign Minister explained that "my visit to Baghdad is a prelude to an improvement in bilateral relations," pointing out that "there are historical relations linking us with Iraq.
     
    Bin Mubarak said that " a memorandum of political consultation was signed with Iraq, stressing "readiness to achieve the requirements of peace in Yemen".
