Khamenei: Daring to attack the Holy Quran is a conspiratorial and dangerous incident

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, issued a statement today, Saturday, describing the insult to the Holy Quran in Sweden as a conspiratorial and dangerous incident.

In the statement, Khamenei said: "Insulting the Holy Quran in Sweden is a conspiratorial and dangerous incident, and inflicting the harshest punishment on the perpetrator of this crime is agreed upon among all Muslim scholars. The Swedish government must also know that by supporting the criminal, it has taken a belligerent stance against the Islamic world and has stirred up hatred and enmity of all Islamic peoples and many Islamic countries towards itself.".

He added, "That government must hand over the perpetrator of the crime to the judicial systems in Islamic countries, and the conspirators behind the scenes must know that the sanctity and prestige of the Holy Quran will increase day after day, and that the lights of its guidance will become brighter. Such a conspiracy and its perpetrators are too despicable and insignificant to prevent this ever-increasing brilliance."
