Al-Badr: the minister of Health will sign cooperation protocols with the Iranian side during his visit to Tehran

The Ministry of Health announced on Friday the agenda and goals of the visit of its minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi to the Iranian capital Tehran, while confirming that he will sign cooperation protocols with the Iranian side.

The ministry's spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that " within the efforts of the Iraqi government in communicating with all countries of the world to develop the health reality in Iraq, and among the priorities of the government program, comes the visit of Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi, at the head of an advanced delegation from the ministry, to the capital Tehran, after an official invitation from the Ministry of Health in the Islamic Republic of Iran, to follow the latest prospects of cooperation between the two countries.

"The visit will also include the signing of cooperation protocols previously prepared in Baghdad and within a series of agreements with Iran, and will also include acquaintance with the pharmaceutical industry in Iran to develop the experience of localizing the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq,"Al-Bader added.

"The visit will take three days, during which the minister will visit various scientific, academic and health institutions,"he pointed out.

Earlier on Friday, Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi arrived in the Iranian capital Tehran on an official visit.
