Al-Sudani Receives the Qatari Ambassador to Iraq

Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA, that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani received, this morning, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iraq, Mr. Khalid bin Hamad Al Sulaiti, on the occasion of the end of his duties.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Mr. Al-Sudani expressed gratitude for the Qatari ambassador's commendable efforts. He highlighted the ongoing cooperation between Baghdad and Doha, particularly after the recent visit of the Qatari Emir to Iraq. This visit led to the signing of several mutually beneficial memorandums of understanding, notably in the field of gas cooperation. Iraq remains committed to further collaboration to advance the interests of both nations and enhance the well-being of their peoples.
