The date that the Baghdad and Najaf-Karbala metro projects' tenders open is determined by NIC

The National Investment Commission announced Monday, as the date for the metro projects in Baghdad and Najaf-Karbala to open bids.
 
"A technical conference was held for the investment companies that applied for the Baghdad Metro and Najaf - Karbala Metro projects," as stated by Haider Muhammad Makiya, Chairman of the Commission, in a press conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter. He added that "all the details of the two projects are within the responsibility of the investor, while the consultant's salary will be on the winning company."  
 
He added that "May 12 will be the last date for receiving bids, after which bids will be opened."
