The Ministry of Interior MOI announced on Sunday the arrest of two drug traffickers in possession of 180,000 Captagons in BabIl.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "with continuous field follow-up and after a tight ambush, the General Directorate of Drug Affairs, through a force of anti-drug heroes in Babil, was able to arrest drug dealers in possession of (180) thousand Captagons in the province of Babil.”
The Ministry added, "The necessary legal measures were taken against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) drugs for the crime of drug trafficking to receive their fair punishment."
