Capturing a drug dealer in possession of 5 kg of Hashish in Basra

The General Directorate for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs announced on Friday, the arrest of a drug dealer in possession of (5) kilograms of narcotic Hashish in Basra.
 
 
The Directorate stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Under the personal and direct supervision of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and with a qualitative operation, continuous field follow-up, and after setting up an elaborate ambush, a force from Basra Drug Control was able to arrest a drug dealer red-handed in possession of (5) kilograms of narcotic hashish in Basra Governorate.”
