Al-Maliki: The government is determined to implement major strategic projects

    The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Monday, that the government is determined to implement major strategic projects.
     
     
    Al-Maliki's office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, received in his office today, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Iraq, Tsui Wei," pointing out that, "during the meeting, developments in the political and security situation in the country and the region were discussed, as well as strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
    Al-Maliki clarified, according to the statement, "Iraq's keenness to consolidate communication with China for the sake of cooperation in various fields," noting that "the government is determined to implement major strategic projects, and we hope that these projects will be implemented through the agreements concluded between the two countries."
      "China has great experience, especially in the field of construction and infrastructure projects." Al-Maliki said.
    For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of China expressed his appreciation for Iraq and its leadership's keenness to strengthen relations with Beijing and increase the dimensions of cooperation in various fields.
