Barcelona defender Pau Coparsi is likely to be ruled out of the Spain national team's training camp for the month of March after suffering an ankle injury during the first leg of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal against the Netherlands.
According to Mundo Deportivo, "Coparsi felt better after the 2-2 draw in Rotterdam, but he will undergo a medical examination on Friday to assess his condition more closely."
A Catalan Radio SER correspondent reported that "the player is suffering from ankle pain, but his injury does not appear serious, and he is expected to travel with the national team to Valencia to prepare for next Sunday's second leg at the Mestalla Stadium."
The Spanish national team needs a win in the second leg to secure a place in the semifinals of the tournament, after the first leg against the Dutch Windmills ended in a draw.
