Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shimmari discussed on Wednesday, with the Iranian police chief a number of common issues, during a security meeting.
Al-Shimmari met, on the sidelines of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the Iranian police chief, in the presence of the Iraqi delegation accompanying the minister, and during the meeting, a number of important issues were discussed, including securing the appropriate atmosphere for the citizens of both countries via religious visits and events, especially Arbaeen visit and all its details, and organizing the movement of visitors, according to a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During this meeting, they discussed the exchange of wanted persons for the judiciary, and the fight against drugs and psychotropic substances.
