A meeting was held at the Joint Ops Command headquarters to assess the security situation and future plans.
A security meeting was held at the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command on Monday, that included the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General, Special Forces, Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, and the Personal Secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Karim al-Sudani, Lieutenant General Staff Qais Al-Muhammedawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, in addition to a number of commanders and security agencies," included a statement by the Joint Operations Command, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The meeting discussed future plans and the security situation "with the aim of reviewing the current challenges and implementing the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to maintain pressure on the defeated terrorist elements, as well as developing and empowering the units, unifying and intensifying intelligence work."
"This comes in addition to reviewing the policy of openness within the sectors of responsibility, equipping them with drones andd night glasses, wheels and military equipment that enable it to perform the duties assigned to it with high professionalism and high combat skills," according to the statement.
