The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced today, Friday, the registration of the return of about 1,000 displaced families to their areas of origin.
The ministry stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "Under the direction of the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, and in implementation of the government program, the Ministry of Migration and Displacement registered the return of (989) displaced families in Sulaymaniyah Governorate during the past two weeks, at the rate of (4,248) voluntarily displaced. to their original areas in the governorates of Baghdad, Nineveh, Anbar, Diyala and Salah al-Din.
She added, "The turnout of the displaced families to register their desire to return voluntarily came after direct awareness of the ministry's field teams for the displaced families, in cooperation with local governments."
