Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced today, Friday, that the Arab countries are facing a historic opportunity to rearrange the Arab house with the least amount of foreign interference.
Al-Assad said during his speech at the Arab summit held in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Arab countries are facing a historic opportunity to rearrange the Arab house with the least amount of foreign interference," calling for "the development and review of the League Charter." Arabic and its internal system to be in line with the requirements of the times.
He added, "The reconciliations that took place are a historic opportunity to rearrange our affairs without foreign interference," stressing, "The world must leave the internal issues to our peoples, and we must reject foreign interference."
