The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA at the Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the arrest of five suspects accused of the crime of terrorism in Nineveh.
FIIA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the intelligence and federal investigation detachments in the Ministry of Interior were able to carry out qualitative duties based on intelligence information and field surveillance, which resulted in the arrest of five defendants wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law in Nineveh province."
It stressed that "the investigations and information possessed by the intelligence agency that they belonged to ISIS terrorist gangs, and they worked in different places after being assigned tasks within the so-called non-Islamic states, divisions and police."
