Iraqi National Security Service(INSS) announced on Monday, the arrest of 6 terrorists in three provinces.
INSS stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the detachments of INSS in Baghdad were able to track (3) terrorists, reach their whereabouts and arrest them," noting that "one of them was on the run in one of the countries and tried to enter the capital, Baghdad."
The statement added, "INSS detachments in Kirkuk Province were also able to arrest two persons accused of terrorism, in addition to capturing another terrorist in Anbar after coordination with the Sulaymaniyah Asayish, where our information confirmed the presence of the terrorist in the aforementioned governorate to be arrested."
It continued, "The statements of the accused were duly recorded and referred to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary measures against them."
