16 terrorists arrested: SMC

Security Media Cell SMC announced Thursday, the arrest of (16) terrorists in separate areas.

SMC said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "detachments of the National Security Service arrested (16) wanted persons for the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article / 4 terrorism in the governorates (Nineveh, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Diyala and Anbar), and this took place after intensifying intelligence efforts and cooperation of citizens to report terrorists.

SMC added, "The statements of the accused were duly recorded and referred to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary measures against them in accordance with the law."
