Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced on Monday, the capture of one of the largest currency smugglers outside the country.
A statement of INSS received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "In continuation of the efforts of INSS to pursue currency smuggling networks, a force from INSS in Baghdad arrested the so-called (Rami Hassan Nasser), who was accused of smuggling currency out of Iraq."
The statement added, "The operation was carried out according to judicial arrest warrants, and investigation procedures are still ongoing with him according to the law."
INSS affirmed, according to the statement, "its continuation to follow up and pursuit anyone who begged himself to cause harm to the national economy."
