President Rashid stresses the importance of supporting Nineveh and the rest of the provinces to enhance security and stability

President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed on Sunday,  the importance of supporting Nineveh and the rest of the provinces to enhance security and stability.

The presidency said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, met in Mosul, the Governor of Nineveh, Najm al-Jubouri, in the presence of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Muhammad Tamim, and Ministers of Culture Ahmed Fakak. Al-Badrani, Defense Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi, Immigration and Displaced Evan Faiq Gabro, and a number of members of Parliament for Nineveh Governorate."

The statement added, "The President of the Republic congratulated the governor of Nineveh and the people of the city on organizing the Spring Festival after a break of two decades."
The president praised, according to the statement, "the level of preparation and organization of the festival and the participation of the various components of the city and its various sects," noting, "The organization of the festival is an important step to confirm the return of life to Mosul and overcome the challenges it faced previously."

It stressed "the importance of supporting Nineveh and the rest of the provinces to enhance security and stability and move towards reconstruction and construction projects and improve the service and living conditions for all citizens."

For his part, Governor Najm al-Jubouri expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic for attending the opening ceremony of the Spring Festival in Mosul, praising his support for Nineveh Governorate and its people City."
