FIIA: Seizing large quantities of ammunition in Anbar

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency Intelligence Agency FIIA announced Thursday the seizure of large quantities of ammunition inside a den of ISIS terrorist gangs in Anbar.

A statement by the FIIA, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "With a distinguished intelligence operation carried out by detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior, it was based on confirmed information about the presence of a stockpile of ammunition in Wadi Thamel area in Anbar Governorate."

It added, "After an inspection and search operation, a stack of equipment containing 350 three hundred and fifty containers of 14.5 mm caliber belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs of the so-called Southern Province, which they hid during previous years, was seized," indicating that "they were duly seized and all legal measures were taken."
