Security operation launched in Anbar: PMF

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced Thursday the implementation of a raid and search operation in the desert, west of Anbar Province.

 A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a force from the 18th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces launched a raid and search operation in the desert, west of Anbar Governorate."

 The statement added, "The operation aims to secure and enhance security in the areas within the sector of responsibility on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr."

 It pointed out, "The Popular Mobilization Forces continue their operations in anticipation of any terrorist attacks , and search for hostels that terrorists take as a den for them."
