Maine museum offering $25K reward for fallen meteorite

The Maine Mineral & Gem Museum offered a $25,000 reward for the first meteorite they get weighing one kilogram or more.

The most likely area for recovering any meteorites is a mile-wide field extending from just north of Waite, Maine, to the border town of Canoose in New Brunswick.

NASA says this was the first-time radar has ever caught a meteorite falling in the state and it's believed that fragments of it can be found.
