DMI arrests five terrorists in Baghdad, Nineveh, Anbar and Salah al-Din

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced on Tuesday arresting five terrorists in Baghdad, Nineveh, Anbar and Salah al-Din.

A statement by DMI received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "with proactive operations and tireless efforts of the department and Salah al-Din Operations Command and the 6th, 10th and 16th Divisions and in cooperation with the ground-based security forces, ambush was erected in different areas of the same governorates."

The statement added that "the operation resulted in the arrest of (5) terrorists wanted for the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism in the district of Al-Sharqat, Talkif, Ramadi Island and the Akrkoff area, indicating that " they were handed over to the authorities."
