The National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, discussed today, Monday, with the Deputy Head of the Turkish Intelligence Service, Mutlu Toga, a roadmap for resolving security problems between the two countries and border control.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, received in his office today, Monday, the deputy head of the Turkish Intelligence Service, Mutlu Toga, and the security delegation accompanying him.
The statement added that during the meeting, "developments in the security situation in the region were reviewed, as well as issues related to the security of the two countries, as well as a roadmap for resolving security problems between the two countries and border control."
For his part, Tuga stressed that "the visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, to Turkey was important and positive, expressing his country's aspiration to develop relations with Iraq in various fields."
