The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, confirmed today, Saturday, Iraq's progress in establishing effective economic relations, during telephone talks he had with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron," pointing out, "The contact witnessed discussions between the two sides on ways to strengthen bilateral relations." And continue work and economic partnership and expand it for the benefit of the two countries.
The Prime Minister assured the French President, according to the statement, "Iraq will continue to establish effective economic relations that contribute to the construction of infrastructure, and open the doors of investment and partnership to all friends, within an effective economic and service program.".
For his part, the French President praised "the growing relations between the two friendly countries, in various fields, and the increasing level of cooperation towards building economic partnerships that contribute to achieving mutual interests, in a way that enhances the development path of the two countries and the prosperity of their peoples."
