The media advisor to the Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Rikabi, confirmed on Tuesday, that the government wants to expand the horizons of cooperation with friendly and fraternal countries and has adopted the principle of balance in foreign relations.
"Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, since the formation of the government, has been able to take a balanced approach to Iraq's relations with the world," Al-Rakabi told Iraqi News Agency, stating that "this approach is based on the principle of mutual respect and mutual interests."
He added, "The government's message to all countries, without exception, is that Iraq relies on the principle of balance in foreign relations, in a way that enhances its stability and achieves the interests of its people and the security of the region," noting that "the government wants to expand the horizons of cooperation with friendly and brotherly countries."
