PM Al-Sudani: We are looking forward to an Iraq we will build together

Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, congratulated on Tuesday, the Iraqi people on the Newroz holiday.
 
Prime Minister said, in a statement issued by his office, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to our Kurdish people in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to all Iraqis from all communities, and to all the people celebrating Newroz. I wish this occasion brings us peace and stability with the grace of Allah Almighty.
 
Al-Sudani added,"The joyous occasion of Newroz comes this year as our beloved Iraq makes substantial steps towards establishing and sustaining civil peace, moving ahead the wheel of the economy, and launching an ambitious and realistic reform program that places the Iraqi citizens' needs at the top of its priorities that we considered as our responsibility on the first day of this government”.
 
 
The statement continued,"As Iraqis, we hope that on Newroz Day, we strengthen our unity and spiritual communication and celebrate the diversity that represents our enduring wealth. It has become abundantly clear that our past and roots are firmly connected, just as our future and destiny are all connected".
 
"Newroz brings hope to those who celebrate it every year. It teaches the values of work and patriotism. This year is full of hope and work for our country",
 
The prime minister also stressed that “On this day, we reaffirm that we are looking forward to an Iraq we will build together and take pride in, an Iraq we deserve, which befits us and our history. Happy Newroz and we wish Iraqis happiness and joy.”
