DMI arrests a terrorist tried to enter Nineveh

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced Sunday that a terrorist who tried to enter Nineveh Governorate had been arrested .

 A statement of the Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "according to accurate intelligence information from the Division (Intelligence and Security) of the Sixteenth Division, and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the Third Infantry Brigade, an elaborate ambush was set up in the checkpoint of the martyr Brigadier General Sabhan, the entrance to Nineveh Governorate."

The statement added, "As a result of the ambush, one of the terrorists wanted by the judiciary was arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism, and he was handed over to the requesting party."
