A convict who killed his parents and injured his sister arrested in Baghdad: FIIA

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA at the Ministry of Interior announced Sunday the arrest of a suspect who killed his parents and injured his sister in Baghdad.

FIIA stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior carried out distinguished intelligence efforts in pursuing a fugitive killer who killed his parents (mother and father) and injured his sister with a firearm and fled on the run in the Zayouna area in Baghdad."

FIIA added, "The detachments were able to follow up on the accused, arrest him in record time, and seize the crime weapon after he threw it in the trash, trying to hide it," indicating, "All legal measures were taken duly."
