FIIA arrests seven terrorists in Salah al-Din

    The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced on Wednesday the arrest of seven terrorists in Salah al-Din.

     A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior continues its security operations to follow up the elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs to punish them and dry up their sources."

    It explained, "According to accurate intelligence information, the heroes of the FIIA in Salah al-Din arrested seven wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 / terrorism) for their affiliation with ISIS terrorist gangs."

     It added, "Their tasks were distributed within those criminal gangs in transporting foodstuffs, setting up fictitious controls, and their participation in the attack on the security forces in the Farhatiya area and the Ishaqi River, and distributing the so-called guarantees to the families of ISIS members, in addition to the work of one of them in the so-called zakat office, and another apprenticed to the so-called imam of mosques, while one of them worked as a mosque preacher, his mission was to deliver sermons and incite citizens exclusively to fight the security forces before the days of liberation.

     It also pointed out, "Their statements were recorded in the primary and judicial confession, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them."
