The Agency of Intelligence and Federal investigation (AIFI) in the Ministry of Interior announced on Monday, the arrest of four suspects accused of various crimes in the provinces of Baghdad and Anbar.
A statement by AIFI, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the agency's detachments, based on accurate intelligence information, were able to arrest one of those accused of flagrante delicto in Anbar, in possession of a counterfeit sum of 17,625,000 dinars in the category of twenty-five thousand dinars."
The statement added, "A suspect was arrested in possession of a child that did not exceed three months, trying to sell it for $13,000 in Baghdad governorate," noting that, "in a tight ambush, two suspects were arrested trading in artifacts, and they were in possession of 14 pieces."
