The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, counted the number of Iraqis in Al-Hol camp, while noting that not all of them belong to the terrorist gangs of ISIS.
"There is joint work with the United Nations agencies and missions on the file of displacement through shelter, relief and psychological rehabilitation, the most recent of which is integration”, MOMD minster told The Iraqi News Agency (INA). "These projects are carried out by the Ministry even in the camps in partnership with the United Nations".

Faiq said “The United Nations lauded the MOMD's work inside the camps, but we, in our governmental program, are directed to end the displacement file after a dignified and safe return of all the displaced to their areas of origin,” Noting that "the visit of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, is an encouraging step for the rest of the countries to repatriate their nationals from Al-Hol camp, and many of them have begun to repatriate their nationals already.”

She continued, “The proportion of those countries nationals in Al-Hol camp ranges between (50-60) people only for each country, while the largest percentage is for Syrians and Iraqis," explaining that “The number of Iraqis in this camp is 31,000 people, but not all of them belong to ISIS, as Whoever is proven to be an ISIS member will be taken directly to the courts."

She stated that "Our work with the United Nations is translated into actions inside the camp, and each organization has a specific part in which it operates, whether it is at the health, educational, cultural level, or any services provided."
