Iranian president announces Tehran's support for Iraq's efforts to rebuild the country

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi announced on Monday,  his country's support for Iraq's efforts to rebuild the country in all respects.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al-Abbasi met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, in his office in Tehran."

The statement pointed out, "During the meeting, they discussed common issues related to the security aspect between the two neighboring countries."
 
The Iranian president stressed, "Tehran's support for the efforts made by Iraq to rebuild the country in all respects."
 
While the Minister of Defense appreciated  "the Iranian Republic's support for Iraq and its people, especially during Wars of national liberation against terrorism."
