Capturing 65 wanted persons on various criminal charges in Maysan

Maysan Police Command announced on Friday, the arrest of 65 wanted persons on various criminal charges.

A statement by the Command, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "A joint force from all police directorates and emergency regiments carried out a proactive operation included the entire city of Amarah and the districts of the governorate, to pursue crime gangs and outlaws and search for those wanted by the Judiciary."

The statement added, "The operation was based on accurate intelligence information, which resulted in the arrest of (65) suspects within all sectors of responsibility in the governorate on criminal charges and various legal materials, in addition to seizing a number of violators and vehicles violating traffic regulations," stressing that "the necessary measures will be taken against them in accordance with the law".
