Mandalawi calls on Japanese companies to expand their investments in Iraq

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi called today, Thursday, on Japanese companies to expand their investments in Iraq. 

His media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Mandalawi received in his office today the Japanese ambassador to Iraq (Futoshi Matsumoto) to discuss a number of files of mutual interest.".

The statement added, "During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments and political developments, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of cooperation at the parliamentary level to exchange experiences and visits, and inviting Japanese companies to expand their investments in Iraq, especially in the fields of oil, energy and infrastructure services." transportation, and opening wider horizons for cooperation to achieve the interests of the two peoples.
