The Arab and international police - INTERPOL announced its intention to issue a silver notice for the recovery of Iraqi funds.
"INTERPOL will issue a silver notice for the recovery of funds. This notice will be binding on all countries," said the director of the Arab and International Police (Interpol), Major General Alaa al-Abadi, for a TV show on Al-Iraqiya News TV, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He explained, "The silver notice for the recovery of funds will be issued in the coming days," pointing out that "INTERPOL has recovered 182 persons wanted by the Iraqi judiciary during the past years. We have handed over 62 detainees to INTERPOL over the past years.
