The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, offered condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him): In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The honorable Iraqi people and the Islamic world commemorated the martyrdom of the seventh imam of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
On this great occasion, we offer our condolences to the Islamic world, the Iraqi people, and the honorable religious authority, praying to God Almighty to guide us in the Imams of Light's footsteps and grant us steadfastness in their just mortal stances.
With this profound commemoration, the pilgrims and the lovers of the Prophet's family renewed their commitment to the noble message of the Imam that was tortured in prisons, and they honored his spiritual legacy in a pilgrimage characterized by commitment, brotherhood, self-denial, and societal cohesion.
We extend our thanks and gratitude to our security services of all branches for their vigilance and dedication and for ensuring the pilgrimage's safety, security, and success.
We extend our thanks to all government agencies, the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine foundation, procession organizers, community activities, and crowds of volunteers, who contributed and served the pilgrims with dedication, love, and generosity.
God save Iraq
And maintain the blessing of security and stability in our community.
