The Ministry of Transportation announced Wednesday its intention to conduct urgent flights to evacuate Iraqis wishing to return from Syria and Turkey.
The ministry said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Transportation Razzaq Al-Saadawi, directed the concerned formations in the ministry to conduct urgent flights to evacuate Iraqis wishing to return from Syria by land, and from Turkey by land and air."
He added that "the Ministry of Migration and Displaced embarked on this initiative and according to the directives of the Cabinet ," stressing that "the ministry is working to prepare all the requirements for their transportation."
