5 drug dealers arrested in Babel and Diwaniyah, DGIS says

The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security-DGIS announced on Tuesday, capturing 5 drug dealers in Babel and Diwaniyah governorates.
 
"The intelligence and security detachments of Babel affiliated to DGIS at the Ministry of Defense, and in coordination with the drug affairs, managed to arrest 4 drug dealers in the center of the city of Hilla, after they were caught red-handed," DGIS said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added, "The narcotics were confiscated and the suspects were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 narcotics) of the Penal Code."

 “The detachments of Diwaniyah Intelligence and Security Directorate also managed to arrest one of those wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (32 narcotics), while he was in  al-Daghara district," the statement affirmed. Noting that "the arrest process came in cooperation with the drug affairs in the province, as all the necessary legal measures were taken against him."
