Al-Shammari arrives in Diwaniyah heading a senior security delegation

INA-  BAGHDAD

A senior security delegation, headed by Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived today, Wednesday, in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate.

A statement of the Ministry of Interior, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a high-level security delegation headed by the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Diwaniyah Governorate."

 The statement added, "The delegation included the undersecretary for intelligence, the undersecretary for police affairs, and a number of ministry leaders."

The statement pointed out, "The visit aims to oversee the work and procedures of the directorates and affiliates of the Ministry of Interior in the governorate, and its technical and administrative level with its combat readiness to impose security and stability in the governorate."
