Abdullah calls on the Turkish government to prosecute the murderers of the Iraqi family

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, called on the Turkish government to prosecute the perpetrators of the murder of the Iraqi Kurdish family on its soil.

Abdullah said in a statement to his media office, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency and INA: "Abdullah condemned the crime of attacking an Iraqi Kurdish family inside Turkish territory, calling on the Turkish government to pursue the perpetrators, and to inform Parliament of the merits of the crime through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.".

He added, "We strongly condemn the crime of the heinous attack on an Iraqi Kurdish family, from Dohuk Governorate, who was exposed to gunfire yesterday, inside Turkish territory, on the road linking (Nusaibin - Mardin), and led to the death of five family members," calling on the Turkish government to pursue The perpetrators of this crime, and retribution from them by law, while calling for the necessity of informing the House of Representatives of the reasons for the attack through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iraqi embassy in Turkey. 

Abdullah expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the martyrs.
