IMN releases a private a hashtag as #BaghdadFM_Our_History

INA – BAGHDAD Mass Media and Communications Committee granted the name of Baghdad FM to a new radio Station. Iraqi Media Network – IMN - objected stating that this name is for the only one radio station that returns to 1936. IMN called on all the journalists, artists and press to stand by this objection to protect the name of the Well-Known radio station for it represents ‘a very famous history’ in Media and Journalism in Iraq and the Middle East. Hence, the network has released a private hashtag as a campaign to regain this right. The hashtag went trending as #BaghdadFM_Our_History (#إذاعة_بغداد_تاريخنا). Arabic: [embed]https://twitter.com/iraqmedianet/status/1052555531036938240[/embed]   Mujahid Abu al-Hail, head of IMN demanded on Wednesday, the Mass Media and Communications Committee to take back that decision for this name is the exclusive right of the IMN. He also provided official decrees and documents that support the right of defending the name of Baghdad FM as the property of IMN. Earlier this year, IMN was able to regain the radio’s logo of the channel that returns to 82 years old. Noting that, Baghdad FM is the second radio station in the Arab world after Cairo FM.     @Shahad J Hassan
