The President of the Republic Abdullatif Jamal Rashid and the head of Hikma National Movement, sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, stressed on Sunday, the need for government support to implement the ministerial program.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, received today Sunday, at the Baghdad Palace, the head of Hikma National Movement, sayyed Ammar al-Hakim," noting that "during the meeting, views were exchanged regarding political developments in the country and stressing the need to support the government to enable it to implement the ministerial program, which aims to provide the necessary services to the citizen."
The statement added, "During the meeting, the importance of approving the budget was also stressed to expedite the completion of projects that will contribute to supporting the economy and strengthening the country's infrastructure."
It pointed out that "the President of the Republic spoke during the meeting about his visit to Nineveh Governorate, his knowledge of its conditions and needs, and ways to alleviate the suffering of its people and provide them with a decent life."
