Qatar national team won 2-0 against its Kuwaiti counterpart, in the group two of the 25th Gulf Championship in Basra, on the grounds of Al-Mina Stadium.
Amro Abdul Fattah scored both goals in the 23rd minute and Ahmed Alaa El Din in the 38th minute.
The Kuwaiti team tried to join the match scoring, but it did not succeed in its attempts into goals, so the match ended with two goals to zero.
With this result, Qatar topped its group on goal difference from Bahrain, which won against the UAE national team, with two goals to one, at the opening of the group matches.
