The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, today, Thursday, welcomed the arrival of the Arab guests to Basra to attend the Gulf 25.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet on his Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Welcome to our honorable Arab guests from the Arab Gulf countries."

Al-Sadr also added, "Welcome to the Arabs in the Iraq of the saints and the righteous, and welcome to your precious Basra.".

Al-Sadr called on everyone to take into account this, as the Iraqis are hospitable and generous, pointing out that "conflicts, disagreements and corruption must be avoided, as this is harmful to the reputation of Iraq and the Iraqis.".

The leader of the Sadrist movement continued, "There is also nothing wrong with taking into account the audience when they attend matches, especially the matches of the Iraqi national team, by either being free or with symbolic wages."
