Al-Hakim congratulated Gulf 25: We hope it will be a sign of hope and a message of peace

The head of the  National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated Basra for hosting the 25th Gulf Championship, while expressing his hope that this sports gathering would be a sign of hope and a message of peace .

Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate our beloved Iraqi people and our vision, for hosting the 25th Gulf Football Championship," expressing his hope that "this fraternal Gulf sports gathering on our dear land will be affection and love that confirms the need for cooperation and harmony on goodness and cementing the foundations of common relations.

He added, "Welcome to the guests of Iraq and its brothers, wishing them a pleasant stay in their second country, Iraq, and among their families."
