Rashid congratulated The Iraqi army on the 102nd anniversary

The President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid congratulated today, Thursday, the Iraqi army on the 102nd anniversary of its founding, stressing that the army made epics of heroism and the great victory over terrorism. Rashid said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the valiant Iraqi army, we extend our warmest congratulations to the commanders and soldiers of the army who contributed, along with the formations of our other armed forces, in making epics of heroism and the great victory over terrorism."

He added, "The sacrifices of the army and the rest of the armed forces, from the federal police, the counter terrorism (CTS), The PMF, and the Peshmerga, are the torches that illuminated the path, preserved national dignity, and raised the heads of Iraqis high," noting that "these great sacrifices remain alive in the conscience of the Iraqi people as they celebrate today's anniversary." Establishing his own heroic army.

He stressed "the keenness to establish the values of military professionalism and to consolidate the professional principles of a valiant Iraqi army, its loyalty to the people and its sacrifices for the sake of the homeland."
The President of the Republic concluded his statement by saying: "Wide mercy for the martyrs of Iraq, and every year our army and armed forces are staunch protectors of the homeland and the people."
